Waterparks are great entertainment for the entire family. However, some of them are stomach-flipping feats that don`t pass the safety requirements and are just way too dangerous. So, in tribute to this, we got 5 insane waterslides that you can`t go on anymore. Number 5 on the list is the Wild Rapids Waterslide Park in Sylvan Lake. This waterslide got shut down in 2016 after a 34 year run. They couldn`t keep up with new safety and health codes so the waterpark had to be shut down. Number 4 on the list is the Schlitterbahn in Kansas City which was known as the tallest waterslide in the world. After one tragic death, this waterslide had to be shut down forever.
Number 3 on the list of most insane waterslides is the Steamer Slide at Calypso Waterpark in Limoges, Ontario. This waterpark was charged with 6 safety violations. This waterslide is known to cause a string of accidents. More often than not, many people got flipped over breaking everything from vertebra to collar bones. Number 2 on the list is Fort Rapids in Columbus Ohio. This was known as a very fun waterpark, but unfortunately it was closed because of several issues. This includes cockroaches, bedbugs, improper food handling air quality and more. And finally, number 1 on the list is Action Park. The place faced six different deaths so no wonder it got shut down. It was a 45-deegree angle with a 20-foot drop waterslide.
