Being a truck driver is not an easy job. While most people see it as just driving, a trucker has to know a lot of things in order to do his job properly. Anyways, there are a few “natural“ enemies that a truck normally has. Snowy roads, narrow streets, hills are just a couple of these obstacles that all truckers dislike. But today, we are sharing a video of one “enemy“ that is undoubtedly ruining the lives of most truck drivers that pass through this spot. It is known as the Can Opener Bridge and it is an abnormally low bridge located in Durham, North Carolina.
This specific bridge is called the Can Opener Bridge because of the numerous crashes it has caused. There have been several instances where whole roofs have been peeled off, hence the name of the bridge. Its ground clearance stands at 11 feet and 8 inches, and many trucks are higher than this. This video is a compilation of many trucks that have tried to pass underneath the bridge and that have failed quite badly. If you are a truck driver, be advised to stay away from this place! Nevertheless, watch the video below to see roofs getting peeled off and roof air conditioners getting destroyed!
